It has been my experience that dealing with the big M was a breeze when i was quite busy. We, Goddesses are not the "weaker sex" when it comes to life changes. I forged my way through with my Goddess friends and a great deal of patience from my spouse. Happy to say ( yay ) it`s all over for me! Hang in there as it does get better.

I'm sorry, but the prevalence of (male) doctor misogyny needs addressing. It's just too common for doctors to assume that a woman's problems are "all in her head". As a person with Lyme disease and very active in the Calif. Lyme Disease Association, I can't tell you how many women with Lyme experience this with their doctors who would resolutely prefer to prescribe anti-depressants, or, worse, psychotropic drugs before bothering to run appropriate blood tests... or even just believe their patients. We do not WANT to have hot flashes, suffer mood swings or suffer fatigue or pain. This is not normal for us. As this post points out, there are palliative as well as corrective protocols to help women with these symptoms.

But it is also IMPERATIVE that we own responsibility for our own health and seek out the best solutions available to us by informing ourselves. It's great to see that M. figured this out and acted on it.
